Israel's junior national ice hockey team is going to the World Championship, which will be held from 12 to 21 March 2010 in Monterrey city, Mexico. The delegation of Israeli players will be head by the Israel Hockey Federation (IHFI) Chairman Mr. Sergei Matin. National junior national team of Israel plays in III B Division and its rivals will be national teams of Ireland, Mexico, South - Africa and New - Zealand.

Last week, took place games of the next round of Israel Ice Hockey Championship between teams from the group "B". Team 'Hawks' Haifa played with the HC Holon team. Despite forecasts that foretoldone benefits of 'Hawks', the game was equal. One goal onlywas scored at the 18 th minute of the first period by the 'Hawks' team forward Vladimir Shopinsky. As it turned out, this goal proved to be the sole and victorious.

In the last round of the Israel's National ice hockey Championship was held a game between teams 'Iceberg' Bat-Yam and HC Metula. The game was held in a tense fight. Score was opened by Bat Yam team. Jan Yumashev scored the goal on 6 th minute into the Alexandra Loginov (HC Metula) gates.
