April 2 was held the final game of Israel's National Ice Hockey Championship season 2009-2010. In the main game of the season played 'Monfort' Maalot and 'Iceberg' Bat Yam teams. As expected, the tribune of the 'Metula' Ice arena was filled to overflowing. Fans of both teams came to the game prepared, wearing their clubs, with drums and trumpets. Even the local TV reporters were surprised of such a number and type of fans.

The game began with a conservative attacks, and already at the 3rd minute, 'Monfort' team forward Edward Revnyaga (S. Belo) opened the scoring in the Eugene Gusin ('Iceberg') gates. Further, the game continued in the rapid and mutual attacks with a lot of sending off, which were more technical than aggressive. In the second half of the second period, Edward Revnyaga (Anton Bulakhov) doubled the result and thereby complicated the task for the 'Iceberg' team. As subsequent events showed, this goal was victorious and 'Monfort' club from the Maalot city became a Champion of Israel, the season of 2009-2010.
